The Run Off (Demo V1)

The Run Off is a Multiplayer Platformer, made in GameMaker 2!
Collect coins and race to the end of the levels! There are 5 levels: Grassland, Desert, Neon, Space, and Snow! Whoever reaches the flag first will get a trophy, and if you tie on the amount of trophies, the player with the most coins will win.

This was a 3 week long college project between myself and my project partner, Aston. With unique gameplay taking inspiration by Fall Guys and Pizza tower, a stunning 2.5D artstyle inspired by New Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country, and an Original Soundtrack inspired by games like Banjo Kazooie, we feel we have created something unique!
